Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil

  • 1 cup of Steel Cut Oats

  • 3 cups Boiling Water

  • 1/2 cup of Almond or Coconut Milk

  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon

  • 1 tsp Hemp Seeds

Toppings

  • Choose from shredded coconut, goji berries, raisins, sliced banana or fresh berries.

  • If you need to sweeten it a little bit, use maple syrup, honey or another natural sweetener

Okay, lets get started!

Put coconut oil in a medium size pan on medium heat and let it melt. Add oats and stir for about 2 minutes which will lightly toast the oats. Add boiling water and let simmer for 25 minutes. Keep an eye on it to make sure it keeps simmering, but you don't need to stir at this stage. Add milk, stir and keep simmering for another 10 minutes stirring every once in awhile. Sprinkle with cinnamon to your taste, add hemp seeds and then add any other toppings of your choice!
