Here’s my easy and delightful Baked Pears Recipe for yummy treats

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe pears

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (such as walnuts or almonds)

  • 2 tablespoons raisins

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

  • Greek yogurt (optional, for serving)

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Wash the pears and slice them in half lengthwise. Use a spoon or a melon baller to remove the core and seeds, creating a hollow in each pear half. You can also trim a small slice from the bottom of each pear half to make them stable when baking.

  2. In a small bowl, mix the ground cinnamon with half of the honey (1 tablespoon) to create a cinnamon-honey mixture.

  3. Place the pear halves, cut side up, on a baking dish or sheet. Fill the hollow of each pear half with chopped nuts and raisins. Drizzle the cinnamon-honey mixture evenly over the top of each pear half.

  4. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the pears are tender and easily pierced with a fork.

  5. Once the pears are done baking, remove them from the oven. Drizzle the remaining honey (1 tablespoon) over the top of each pear half, and then sprinkle them with the chopped thyme.
